Our Mission
Our mission is to take care of our clients' money and taxes by offering everything they need under one roof. We want to help families, new startups, and big companies by handling all their paperwork, tax filings, and investment planning honestly and simply, so they do not have to worry about the rules.
Our History
We started on March 25, 1961, when our founder, the late Shri Odhvajibhai Popat, set up POPAT & Co. He had no financial backing or money behind him, but through honest hard work, he built a reputation for trust in Rajkot by helping people with their basic income tax.
Later on, his son, Shri Harenbhai O. Popat (B.Com., LL.B., Tax Advocate), took over the business and grew it using his deep legal and tax knowledge. Around this time, Smt. Darshana Harenbhai Popat also joined him, starting our life insurance and family protection services. Together, they turned a simple tax office into a safer place for clients to manage their money.
Today, the third generation runs the business. Shri Paurav H. Popat (B.Com., LL.B., Tax Advocate) and Smt. Hiral Paurav Popat (Ruparel) (M.Com., PGIBM, CA(Inter)) work together to handle legal tax matters alongside modern financial planning and wealth management.
What started as a small tax practice over sixty years ago is now a complete home for financial planning and tax solutions. To give our clients a better experience, we are moving into a highly modern, brand-new office at R. K. ICONIC (Shital Park, 150 Ft. Ring Road) where we can handle all your work under one roof.
